Ok this is a couple days late, and the Featured Publisher day was
actually Thursday, so I'm all messed up this week. ;)
Pam, of Cave Cibum was in town for
her friend’s wedding, and stopped in for a tour of the office. After showing
her around the Foodbuzz headquarters, we took advantage of the sunny day, and
headed over to Taylor’s
Refresher for lunch down at the Ferry Building. What a treat to sit outside
and soak up the warm sun for an hour.
After lunch, the Foodbuzz office snacked on the most delicious lobster gummies (below), which Pam brought us from Boston as a treat. So sweet! They literally disappeared in an hour.
I also want to give a shot out to
Souvlaki
for the Soul, whose Brussels sprouts
recipe/photo I discovered on Foodbuzz after being
inspired to find a good recipe for the vegetable with the most terrible
reputation. Earlier in the week, I’d had lunch at Bocadillo’s
down the street from the office, where I had the best Brussels sprouts I’ve
ever had (pictured below). They were perfectly fried and served with Kiwi. Naturally, I needed to find a good recipe so I could
experiment around with cooking them at home, and this one will be on the menu
for making this week.
